Short terms for a tool that stays on your computer.

CRABOY removes the background from photos in your browser. The home page, craboy.com, cuts out three of your photos a day at 1K without an account. The editor at app.craboy.com is the paid tool: original resolution, batch, bulk design, export and offline use, with credits or an Unlimited subscription.

Your photos and your results are yours. CRABOY claims no rights to them and never receives them. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos you process.

One account per person. Keep your sign-in methods to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility. CRABOY may suspend an account used to abuse the service, to interfere with the license or credit system, or for anything unlawful. You can close your account from your profile at any time. Unused credits are lost when the account closes and aren’t refunded. What CRABOY keeps about you, who processes it and for how long is in the Privacy notice.

The editor, the home page’s cutout and the models they download run in your browser so your photos never leave it; they are licensed to you for that use only. Do not extract, copy, decrypt, redistribute or reverse-engineer the models or the app, or get around the way they are delivered, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.

Each processed image uses the credits shown for its quality before you process it. Credits never expire while your account is open; unused credits are lost when the account closes and aren’t refunded. They are spent only while no Unlimited subscription is active, and are not refundable once spent. If an image fails within a minute of starting, its credits are given back automatically, up to five times in any 24 hours; after that, or for a later failure, they stay spent. A rise in the credits a quality uses is announced at least 14 days before it applies, by email to every account that holds credits and has a verified email address, and in the app; it waits until those emails have gone out, and from the day it applies, it applies to all credits. A fall applies at once.

An Unlimited subscription covers as many images as you like for its period: monthly (30 days) or yearly (365 days). The launch price, while one is offered, applies to the first term only: the first 12 monthly periods or the first yearly period, once per account. Every later renewal is at the regular price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Cancel any time before a renewal from your billing page: that stops the next renewal, and the current period runs to its end. The three-year option is a pass, not a subscription: it is paid once, covers as many images as you like for 1,095 days from the payment, then ends. It does not renew, and nothing more is charged for it. Offline use is granted as a 7-day license on up to 2 computers (every browser on one computer counts once), renewed whenever the editor is back online.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Where sales tax (or VAT) applies, Whop calculates and collects it at checkout, and you see the total before you pay. A launch offer, when one runs, shows the regular price beside the price you pay. Whop handles the payment and your saved payment methods; CRABOY never sees your card details.

Refunds are handled from your billing page. A refunded credit pack returns the unspent part of its credits in proportion to the amount refunded; a refunded subscription shortens the paid period in proportion. Nothing already processed is refundable.

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the law gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For digital content that starts at once, that right ends when it starts, provided you asked for it to start straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right. Every purchase starts as soon as it is paid, so before each checkout you tick that you want it to start now and understand that you then lose the 14-day right to cancel. The tick is recorded with your purchase and confirmed in the email that confirms it. This does not affect the refunds above, or your rights when something you bought does not work as described.

CRABOY is provided as it is. The models and the editor may change, and processing depends on your device: without WebGPU, Studio and Max skip their fine-edge pass. To the extent the law allows, CRABOY’s liability for any claim is limited to what you paid CRABOY in the twelve months before it.

You accept these terms when you sign in to app.craboy.com and again before each purchase; the version you accepted (the date at the top) and when are recorded with your account. When these terms change, the date changes with it, and you are asked to accept the new version at your next sign-in or purchase.
